Offered by University College, the University of Denver’s College of Professional and Continuing Studies, Focus Forward is an integrated program consisting of a prerequisite workshop and optional relevant courses, all designed to help career professionals plan their future.
The Focus Forward Program has been exclusively and thoughtfully designed for working professionals later in their career who are looking for new direction.

Drawing from years of research in the field and working with accomplished mid-to-later career professionals in the workplace, Lori Zahn created the Focus Forward Program in 2010. The program was borne out of her desire to help career professionals navigate professional transitions later in their career. She taught the successful program at the University of Denver as adjunct faculty for a decade.
In 2020, the Focus Forward Program went virtual with the same great participant experience which is the hallmark of the program’s success. In 2021, the Program was redesigned to provide an even more robust participant experience and met with rave reviews (see Testimonials).
